Daily Pearls Privacy Policy

1. The short answer
Pearl of Mind does not collect any personal information through Daily Pearls. There's no account and no sign-in, and we don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. All prompts are built into the App, so it never downloads content from us. The App doesn't send your reflections, saved prompts, or settings to us or to anyone else.
2. What stays on your device
- your reflections (journal entries);
- prompts you save; and
- your settings, such as notification time.
These are stored only in the App's private storage on your device. The App, its Home Screen widget, and its Apple Watch app share that storage on the same device, so they can show the same content. We can't see, access, or recover any of it.
Apple Watch. If you use the Watch app, your iPhone sends the day's prompt directly to your paired Apple Watch over Apple's device-to-device connection. It doesn't go through our servers or anyone else's (we don't have servers). Your Apple Watch keeps its own copy in its own storage.
3. Notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off anytime in iOS Settings.
4. Apple
Apple processes your purchase and may share limited, aggregated information with developers, such as download counts, and crash reports if you've chosen to share them with developers in iOS Settings. This information doesn't identify you to us. Apple's own privacy policy covers what Apple collects.
5. Backups
If your device backs up to iCloud or a computer, those backups may include App data, including your reflections. Backups are controlled by you and Apple under Apple's terms, and we can't access them. The App itself has no iCloud sync. To keep its data out of iCloud Backup, turn off iCloud Backup, or turn off Daily Pearls in your iCloud backup settings (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Backups; the exact menu names can vary by iOS version).
6. Deleting your data
Delete the App from your iPhone, and from your Apple Watch if installed, to permanently delete your reflections, saved prompts, and settings. Deleted data can't be recovered. Backups made before deletion may still contain it until those backups are replaced or deleted.
7. Children
Daily Pearls is for people 13 and older. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Users outside the US
Because we don't collect personal information through the App, we don't transfer or process your data anywhere. Contact us with any privacy question wherever you live.
9. Changes and contact
If we ever change the App so that information leaves your device (for example, by adding accounts or sync), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any data is collected.
